We welcome up to two well-behaved dogs at Lake Breeze Lodge (with prior arrangement). Our lakeside location and surroundings offer the perfect getaway for you and your four-legged companion.
Our location is ideal for morning walks along the lake, sniffing out new trails, and plenty of room to play fetch on the property. There are endless great walks in the Cotswold Water Park area, a number of dog-friendly pubs and cafes in the Cotswolds to explore together. After a day of adventures, your pup can curl up by the fire or relax on the deck while you enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
We know traveling with pets can sometimes be a bit worrisome. Rest assured, our cleaning standards are meticulous, and we’ll provide some dog-friendly touches to make them feel at home. We just ask that your furry friends respect the house rules and stay off the furniture.
Experience the thrill of watersports right from your doorstep! Take your own paddleboards and canoes, giving you the perfect way to explore the serene waters of Windrush Lake and of the many local lakes and waterways. Glide across the water at sunrise, enjoy a leisurely afternoon paddle, or try your hand at fishing from your canoe. It’s the ideal way to enjoy the beautiful Cotswold scenery from a unique perspective.
Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or a first-time paddler, the calm waters of the lakes offer an inviting space for enjoying the many local watersport centres available. Kids will love learning how to paddleboard or kayak and the whole family can create lasting memories while exploring the water together.

We are so lucky to be in a beautiful lakeland part of the Cotswolds and surrounded by water, wildlife and natural surroundings. Our lodge is often visited by wildlfowl and water birds including swans, geese, coots, moorhens and ducks. It is lovely to sit and watch the abundant wildlife and soak up the wonderful lakeland views.
The Cotswold Water Park is a stunning wetland landscape has received national recognition for its importance for wetland wildlife with thousands of water birds visiting each winter. Explore the many nature reserves and wildlife sites. See great white egrets, marsh harriers, numerous dragonflies, colourful wildflowers to water voles, otters and so much more!
