Absolutely stunning relaxing stay. Home was beautifully clean, and decorated to a high standard. Very comfortable beds, with lots of fresh towels to use.
View was beautiful, both morning and evening.
Lots of games and books for both adults and children: had a lovely cold bottle of Prosecco left in the fridge for us on arrival, which was great fully received after being stuck in traffic for 3 hours.
Very spacious, easy to find, great communication throughout and felt at ease the whole process.
Would highly recommended and have already recommended to family members who are looking to book as I write this.
We ate at one of the local pubs, the George inn and the food was lovely.
Property was warm and safe, quiet location.
The children enjoyed the games room (take pounds coins we forgot so had to go out and get some).
Will definitely return in the summer.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Well located for South Cerney Lakes activities, which are accessible on foot or by bike. A lake view was a bonus.
Lovely modern, well equipped and warm house. Marie was a very responsive host, promptly answering any queries we had and providing clear instructions. The info pack on local amenities, places to see and to eat out was very useful, and providing a bottle of fiz to greet our arrival was a nice touch. Thank you!
In summary, we would highly recommend this accommodation.

We had a lovely weekend stay at Marie’s. The location is wonderful, the home is neat, clean and cosy and the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. The lakeside location is incredible. Cirenchester town is nearby with loads to do! We really enjoyed the Christmas market. Overall, we highly recommend!

We had a wonderful break in a beautiful location. Marie is an excellent host, clear instructions before arrival with a kind, friendly response.
The accommodation is lovely. Warm and cosy, with beautiful views of the lake.
Hopefully be back again to enjoy the decking area in the sunshine.

We added on this stop after our previous Airbnb had to cut short our stay - and it massively enhanced our holiday experience.
Marie was amazingly accommodating, getting the place ready for an early check-in and it was absolutely perfect. Lovely spot right on the lake with wonderful walks nearby. We made use of the pizzeria, bar, cafe and donut shop just up the road on a wonderful, sunny afternoon.
There is also lots to do on-site, with tennis football, watersports and more, but the property was also the perfect spot for a chilled out family night.
We loved it.

This place is clean and safe for kids. It’s wonderful for families with activities for everyone. The kitchen is great if you want to eat in. The host was very responsive. There is so much to do in the area, but if you just want a relaxing evening in, it’s great for that, with a perfect aspect for viewing the sunset. The back deck gets perfect evening sun, when it makes an appearance. Definitely recommend!

Experienced a fantastic week at Marie's beautiful house in the Cotswolds.
The layout is ideal with a fantastic sitting/ dining area, which boasts wonderful, uninterupted views to the small lake. The deck directly outside the lounge is furnished and is a perfect location for eating, drinking, and relaxing.
There are readily available parking spaces directly outside the property in well-maintained grounds.
Great base for running, cycling, and water sports.
Numerous eateries within walking distance or a short car journey away.
Would highly recommend. We will be back.

First I’d like to say that Marie is a fantastic host. Very kind, accommodating, friendly and responsive. The lodge is very clean and comfortable. Equipped with everything that you should need. The beds were so comfort. It was the perfect size for 4 adults and our fur baby. Despite being close to other houses the area was very peaceful and tranquil… the view of the lake certainly helps as well. Both sunrise and sunset were lovely. We highly recommended staying here and I wish we could have stayed longer.

Marie’s place is lovely with stunning views of the lake and the sunset. It was really tranquil despite there being lots of other houses around and we loved paddle boarding on the lake. It is walking distance to several nice places to eat, bike hire and tennis courts.
Marie was super helpful with recommendations and the place was very well-equipped. A great weekend was had by all and I wish we had stayed a whole week.

Marie's lakeside lodge is an amazing place to stay in wonderful surroundings. The property was spotlessly clean, the beds were very comfortable and the showers were excellent. The lodge is very well equipped with everything we needed. Marie is a very friendly and responsive host and very kindly left us prosecco and offered us flexible check in and check out times.
